MODELING BURNOUT SYNDROME’S LATENT TRAIT OF NURSES USING THE GRADED RESPONSE MODEL

Abstract

The aim of this paper is an application of the widely known graded response model to burnout syndrome data. Burnout is a psychological syndrome that has a multidimensional configuration of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. The model was estimated using the Bayesian approach using the OpenBUGS software through R2OpenBUGS package in R.
