In the heat of a place: territory, subjectivities and power

Abstract

The present paper aims to present some analysis extracted of a communitarian leadership training´s process had as a methodological resource the intervention-research.  For this, resort to different thinkers that take the city as field analysis, rehearsing a dialogue which promotes understanding of the forces of composition on its complexity.  On this perspective, some concepts tools problematize the notions of community, territory, group awareness, urbanism, among others.  States that the practices of publicity and privatization touch themselves and define different settings in the course of history of the cities, constituting a tension point gifted in the practice of social workers and the popular groups and organizations.  Because it is a search that interfere, these notions are experienced on their developments of "spaces-times-lifes" illustrated for a field diary and the processual questions within it in terms of problem issues elected by all the actors that compose the experience/experimentation.
