Abstract

This article deals with the memories of a researcher who, for some decades, has been inspired by Michel Foucault, especially in his way of thinking about the urgencies of the present, the construction of truths and the status of writing and authorship. The text refers to some of the author’s research, making connections with recent political and social events, while also dialoguing with theorists and artists, such as Foucault, Chico Buarque, Deleuze, Manoel de Barros, Paul Veyne, among others. The theme of otherness runs through the entire text, with emphasis on the aesthetic elaboration of the self and the necessary exercise of an ethics of existence.

  • Rosa Maria Bueno Fischer, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil

    É doutora em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1996), mestre em Educação pelo Instituto de Estudos Avançados Em Educação Fundação Getúlio Vargas (1982) e é graduada em Letras pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (1971). Aposentada na condição de Professora Titular da UFRGS, em 2020. Prêmio FAPERGS Pesquisador Destaque em Educação, 2023. Titular do Comitê Assessor (CA) da área de Educação, no CNPq (2013-2015). Membro do Comitê Assessor área Educação da CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (2005-2008). De fevereiro a agosto de 2009 foi Visiting Scholar da New York University (USA) -- onde realizou seu estágio de pós-doutorado. Foi editora da revista Educação Realidade, da UFRGS, de setembro de 1997 a junho de 2008. Coordenou o GT Educação e Comunicação da ANPED nos anos de 2005 e 2006 e foi membro do Comitê Científico da ANPED em dois períodos; atua no momento como consultora ad hoc do mesmo GT. Editora associada da revista Education Policy Analysis Archives/ Arquivos Analíticos de Políticas Educativas, desde 2010, até dezembro de 2015. É membro do Comitê Consultivo do Scielo Educa, gerenciado pela Fundação Carlos Chagas, desde 2010. Membro de 8 Conselhos Científicos Editoriais de publicações qualificadas nas áreas de Educação e Psicologia. Participou como membro da Comissão Executiva da ANPED-Sul, em 2018. É membro do Conselho Editorial do Jornal da Universidade, UFRGS. Foi membro da Comissão de Pesquisa da FACED/UFRGS, de 2013-2015. Foi coordenadora de avaliação do PNBE, em 2015. Membro da Comissão de Pós-Graduação do PPGEDU (2011-2015). E membro da Comissão Especial de Assessoramento à Avaliação Docente (PPGEDU/UFRGS). Tem experiência na área de Educação e da Comunicação, com ênfase em Filosofia da Cultura, poéticas dos processos criativos, estudos foucaultianos; realiza pesquisas sobre cinema, imagem, processos de subjetivação e formação ético-estética. Como Professora Convidada do PPGEDU da UFRGS, desde outubro/2020, coordena o NEMES - Núcleo de Estudos sobre Mídia, Educação e Subjetividade, da UFRGS. Autora dos livros O MITO NA SALA DE JANTAR (discurso infanto-juvenil sobre televisão); TELEVISÃO EDUCAÇÃO: fruir e pensar a TV; TRABALHAR COM FOUCAULT. ARQUEOLOGIA DE UMA PAIXÃO.
