Translation and other intertextual relations

After advocating the insertion of Translation within the Language Sciences paradigm and exploring some of its basic concepts, this articles aims at unveiling the main features which characterize translation from a discourse perspective. To this end, a comparison between translation and other forms of discourse, in the light of the concepts of intertextuality and reformulation, is established.
