The speeches of black and old women about work in their different places of speech are analyzed. The results show: - that access to education is decisive for the journey in the world of work; but it is not enough to combat racism, which continues to hinder or prevent the black population from being properly represented in the most prestigious and remunerated places; - the assemblages of these women that led to advances in social and professional mobility, despite racism.
Keywords: discourses- places of speech - black women - aging - work.
