This short text that records the forty years of the Landless Workers Movement (MST) has a double objective. Firstly, it shows that throughout these four decades the struggle for agrarian reform expresses a continuity of the slaves' struggle for the right to land, but denied by the ruling class of the time. Secondly, alongside the fight for agrarian reform goes the fight for education, with the subjects of the countryside, with their culture, experiences and their struggles being the starting point. The arrival point is a complete human formation for a society without class domination.
Keywords: MST, Agrarian Reform, slavery, education, class.
