THE ETHNIC-RACIAL QUESTION AT THE CENTER OF THE CLASS STRUGGLE: THE OVERWHELMING OBJECTIVITY IN FRANTZ FANON AND BLACK CULTURE AS RESISTANCE IN LÉLIA GONZALEZ

This article aims to address the anti-racist struggle at the heart of the class struggle, based on the contribution of Frantz Fanon and Lélia Gonzalez in confronting the ethnic-racial issue, based on the understanding of racism as an overwhelming objectivity that acts as a complex of violence against black people. Gonzalez demonstrates the relationship between racism and sexism in Brazilian culture, recovering the notion of blackness as resistance, and proposing a critique of the place of black people through the processes of quilombola settlement.
