BUILDING A NEW PACT FOR EDUCATION: THE ROLE OF SOLIDARY TECHNOSCIENCE

The text focuses on socioeconomic aspects of the politics and the policy related to the knowledge production conditioned by a pact, mediated by the capitalist state, between the proprietary and the working classes. Adopting the latter's perspective, it investigates the characteristics that a new pact "beyond capital" should have. As usual in the Latin American critical tradition, it treats, first and exemplarily, the way in which those aspects appear in the central countries. Because it is anchored in the historical experience and in the aspirations of subaltern social actors, and it is oriented towards their achievement in the periphery of capitalism, it points the route to the constitution of a new pact based on the values and interests of the solidarity economy. In its second part, the text presents the role that Solidarity Technoscience, can play in paving this route.
