The Function-author: the analysis of the role of the name of the author in the discourse

Abstract

From the Foucault, Brunn and Chartier’s thoughts, we analyze the emergency of the modern author. In relation to history, Foucault shows as the authorial figure was invented through a tram of events that goes of the responsabilization of the discourse´s agent to the function of reference. He indicates the characteristics of the name of the author, designating that it has for function to delimit, to classify and to organize the universe of the discourses. This name is one of the functional principles that conduct our relation with knowing and with literature on behalf of a power and of an authority.

    Possui graduação em Bacharelado de Psicologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1999), graduação em Formação de Psicólogo pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2001), mestrado em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2002) e doutorado pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2007) com estágio de doutorado sanduíche no Centre de Recherche sur la Lecture Littéraire da Universidade de Reims Champagne-Ardenne (2005). No momento, está fazendo pós-doutorado na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (CNPQ/PDJ). Tem experiência na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Psicologia Clínica e, em Estudos da Subjetividade, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: experiência literária, leitura, autoria, literatura, história da leitura, internet, liberdade, estudos contemporâneos da subjetividade, linguagem e construção de subjetividade e psicologia clínica. Atualmente, é membro pesquisador na linha ";;Perspectivas téoricas nos estudos literários";;, da pesquisa ";;Relações entre literatura, filosofia e psicanálise na contemporaneidade";;, desenvolvida no departamento de letras da Universidade Federal Fluminense, contando com pesquisadores de diversos centros de pesquisa.
