This paper highlights that the book "Anti-capitalist environmental education: destructive production, associated work and agroecology," by Henrique Tahan Novaes, analyzes the intensification of the environmental crisis since the 1970s. The author articulates three main axes: the experiences of the MST's agroecology schools, the practices of associated production in Latin America, and the theoretical debate on ecosocialism, influenced above all by István Mészáros and other Marxist thinkers. Novaes shows how the structural crisis of capital has driven collective forms of work organization, such as cooperatives and recovered factories, while criticizing the dominant educational and productive model. The work proposes alternatives based on agroecology, associated work, and an education beyond capital.
