This article presents a project submitted to the evaluation team of the Brazilian Cartography Olympiad (OBRAC 2023), whose theme was "The Amazon on the Map," aimed at including cartographic voids in this region. The objective is to present the results of the work carried out in Phase II, Stages 1 and 2 of OBRAC, by the team from the Federal Center for Technological Education - CEFET-MG (Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais), Divinópolis Campus. With its continental dimensions, Brazil has many spatial voids. Thus, the team proposed a collaborative project for producing open geospatial data, focusing on the Contão Indigenous Community, which is part of the Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Land, located in Pacaraima, Roraima. The CEFET-MG students contacted students from the Indigenous Community School and conducted virtual training with them on how to use the OpenStreetMap (OSM) tool. Teachers from the school also participated, providing information through images, videos, and audio about the studied area and the elements inserted into the platform. Students from the Contão Community School added various data to OSM in the form of lines, polygons, and points that were previously absent from the platform, such as a bakery, restaurant, tire repair shop, and others. The data was downloaded and processed using QGIS software, where maps were created. The final map highlighted the development of the Contão Indigenous Community, showing the school, which now includes a resource room for assisting people with disabilities (PWDs), as well as various commercial establishments.
